    I recently traveled to The Big Apple to attend BEA.  For those of you who are not familiar with this event, it's Book Expo America, one of the largest gatherings of agents, booksellers, authors in the country.  The highlight of my trip was most definitely perusing the conference (and city) with a group of exceptional writers, editors and authors.  In addition, I had some fantastic meetings with journalists and publishers.
